Man and Van in Poole Town Centre

The streets by the quay and through the Old Town are tight, one-way in places and thick with visitors once the weather warms up. We know which loading points and side streets actually work near an address and time the load to dodge the worst of the seafront traffic, which is the difference between a clear run and a parking ticket.

For an office move near the harbour we will often take an evening or a weekend slot, when the roads calm down and there is room to bring the van in close.

Much of town-centre living is flats, from newer marina blocks with booked lifts to older quayside conversions with narrow internal stairs. We bring enough hands so a wardrobe never ends up wedged on a landing, and we plan around the car-park height barriers that catch out anyone arriving with a bigger van.
